Standard USB sockets, even those with two sockets for different maximum currents, can overheat mobile phones and shorten battery life, and they run at high internal temperatures. PowerVerter USB chargers detect whether the connected device is Apple or Android, phone or tablet, and regulate the power supply accordingly. Whatever device is connected it will always be charged as fully as time and capacity allow. All versions in the range can be connected directly to both 12Vdc and 24Vdc systems without adjustment. And they run up to 40 degrees cooler than some USB sockets.
The range includes options with IP65 rear protection, four mounting options and two pods. They all have international transportation safety standards approval.
