Installation Options with Circuit Protection
Mechanical Products is one of only a few circuit breaker manufacturers internationally that offer the same form factor in multiple stud sizes with options for side-by-side bolts or the traditional diagonal in current capacities up to 250A. They have an Auto Reset Type TI but the most common are the Type TIII with PTT (Push To Trip) which is the blue button, the yellow swing tag resets the breaker. A quick rundown of the codes which are followed by the current capacity. ie. 175-S0-040 is a Type TIII PTT with 1/4" stud Diagonal with 40A current rating.
Manual Reset Type TIII PTT with 1/4" stud Diagonal is a 175-S0 prefix.
Manual Reset Type TIII PTT 1/4" stud side by side is a 175-S1 prefix.
Manual Reset Type TIII PTT 3/8" stud Diagonal is a 175-S2 prefix.
Manual Reset Type TIII PTT 3/8" stud Diagonal is a 174-S2 prefix in new capacity 225 & 250A.
