A hybrid inverter can connect to mains power or run off-grid. But not many can charge your batteries from solar unless they are connected to mains power. This is where a true hybrid system shines. With AC Coupling you require mains power to charge the batteries. With DC Coupling you use DC power from either batteries or solar to charge the batteries. Our system can do either, and can also accept a generator input to run the inverter and charge the batteries at the same time which saves on fuel and generator running costs.
