Cranking/Starting or high power/burst energy vs. Deep Cycle which is the term used for a discharge of energy prior to any recharge. Sterling Power Pro Combi S Plus Inverter Charger is a bespoke unit with a very compact footprint at only 225mm x 205mm x 230mm weighing 8.5Kg. It includes a 1600VA inverter (or as most people would prefer we say) a 1300W inverter matched with a 70A 12v charger or 35A 24v charger.
The front panel is removable for remote relocation and a 30A automatic cross over switch once mains power is detected it auto-switches to charging mode. The unit is Neutral-Earth Bonded to allow RCD's to work correctly and has an additional 5A auxiliary charging output port selectable for 12 or 24-volt output for starting battery maintenance charging.
The main chargers have 8 charge algorithms all with their own 4 stage charge profile. An option for charging only, low power saver mode and is Power Factor Corrected to account for varying AC voltage input from poor mains feeds like commonly found at marina's or campgrounds and from generators.
