Starting Batteries
Cranking or Starting battery, this simply means the battery has capacity when correctly sized to start an engine. A larger engine requires a larger battery and the extra volume within the battery gives more surface area for the plates to create a larger chemical reaction to produce more current to start your vehicle/engine.
AGM batteries are designed to have a higher energy density and therefore a higher cranking output. Many times a smaller AGM battery can easily start a vehicle that might have typically had a much larger battery in it. Lithium batteries have a higher energy density again and while there are other considerations with a different type of chemistry they are even smaller and much lighter than AGM batteries because they don't contain a heavy metal (lead).

Odyssey PC680 (note no MJ) MJ is the orange metal jacket you would normally see on the battery as we have sold them previously.
Now with many customers having imported vehicles and airplanes with the cheaper battery because of no jacket or terminals we are stocking both variations.
Yes we have created an issue for ourselves as everyone called the original battery PC680 but it was actually a PC680MJT (the T means Terminals, MJ the Metal Jacket).
Specs are the same as the PC680MJ of course.

Automotive Terminals can be purchased for $15
Terminal Features include:
Encapsulated M6 bolt fastened using an M5 Allen key
Coarse thread Heli-coil inserts and bolt supplied so you can fasten large eyelets to the top of the terminal like a marine or dual purpose terminal
Terminals are removable with an Allen key to reduce battery height and they use an M6 bolt insert.
